Nick Martin, aged 46, passed away on December 15, 1919, in Albion, Michigan. His death was the result of a murder, reportedly committed by a local Bolshevik. Nick Martin was a general store and grocery operator at 702 N. Albion St. He was also known by the name Michael Martin, and in some documents, his surname appeared as Martinoff.
