Jaylon Hardemon, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on October 29, 2019, in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of East Robert Street, on Fort Worth's southeast side. According to police reports, Jaylon Hardemon was found with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso. The shooting is believed to have followed an altercation in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
