On November 2, 2019, Daron Sneed Jr., an 11-year-old boy from Cedar Hill, Texas, tragically died after accidentally shooting himself in his parents' home. Daron was playing video games upstairs while his grandfather watched him and his younger sibling downstairs. When the grandfather heard a loud noise, he went upstairs and found Daron on the floor of his parents' bedroom with a handgun near him. Despite immediate medical attention, Daron succumbed to his injuries.
