Amira Renee Mahler, a 23-year-old woman from Austin, Texas, tragically passed away on November 4, 2019. She was found dead in her North Austin apartment alongside Travis Ford, a 28-year-old man, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide incident. According to the Austin Police Department, Mahler's death was ruled a homicide, while Ford's death was ruled a suicide. The incident was believed to be the result of domestic violence.
