Jamarcus Martin, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 16, 2020, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at the Haverstock Hill Apartments near Aldine Bender Road and Highway 59. Martin was visiting one of his sisters when he was chased by two males from the parking lot and up a set of stairs. He was shot in the head and died at the scene.
