Fernando Perez-Gonzalez, a Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on March 8, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. He was fatally shot in the parking lot of Kalua Discotheque, located at 2435 West Northwest Highway, just before 4 a.m. Perez-Gonzalez was with his brother and a few friends when the incident occurred. The altercation began with a verbal argument between Perez-Gonzalez and the front passenger of a dark blue SUV, which escalated into a physical fight.
During the altercation, the passenger retrieved a handgun from the SUV and opened fire, hitting Perez-Gonzalez and one of his friends. Perez-Gonzalez succumbed to his injuries, while his friend survived.
The suspects fled the scene in the dark blue SUV, which had a large religious decal on the rear window and unique wheels. The Dallas Police Department released a photo of the vehicle and asked for the public's help in identifying the perpetrators. Despite ongoing investigations and a reward offered by Crime Stoppers, the case remains unsolved, and the killers have not been apprehended.
