Jerri Lynn Thomas, aged 55, was found dead on October 21, 2014, in St. Louis, Missouri. Her death was part of a wave of violence that the city experienced that year. Thomas was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in her home, located in the Walnut Park East neighborhood, a part of St. Louis that has been plagued by a history of violent crime.
