Marcus Trey Savoy, a 24-year-old African American male from Beaumont, Texas, tragically lost his life on April 29, 2020. He was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in the 3200 block of Elmira on the city's south side. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m., and a second victim was found with non-life-threatening injuries and transported to a local hospital.
