Pfc. Brandon Scott Rosecrans, a 27-year-old male soldier from Kimberling City, Missouri, was found dead with a gunshot wound in Harker Heights, Texas, on May 18, 2020. Rosecrans, who had joined the Army in May 2018 as a quartermaster and chemical equipment repairer, was assigned to the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood.
