Byron Thomas, a 33-year-old man from Houston, Texas, was tragically killed on July 16, 2020. He was sitting in his car in the parking lot of a west Houston apartment complex when a masked shooter approached him from behind and opened fire. The shooter, described as a Hispanic man, fled the scene in a light-colored sedan. Thomas was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
