Byron Thomas, a 33-year-old man from Houston, Texas, was tragically killed on July 16, 2020. He was sitting in his car in the parking lot of a west Houston apartment complex when a masked shooter approached him from behind and opened fire. The shooter, described as a Hispanic man, fled the scene in a light-colored sedan. Thomas was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigators were unable to determine if Thomas knew the shooter or what led to the attack. ...
