Amy Lynn Warner, a 51-year-old woman from Austin, Texas, tragically lost her life on August 27, 2020. She was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a violent altercation between two groups of Hurricane Laura evacuees in downtown Austin. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near East 6th Street and Brazos Street, close to the Driskill Hotel. Warner was not involved in the fight but was unfortunately shot and later pronounced dead at Dell Seton Medical Center around 1 a.m.
