Irene Hernandez Colunga, a 35-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on August 26, 2002, in Austin, Texas. She was found shot in the living room of her boyfriend's residence in East Austin. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. when her estranged husband, Raymond Colunga, forcibly entered the home carrying a rifle. Raymond Colunga was arrested the following day in Dallas, Texas, after police found a loaded semiautomatic rifle in his car, which was identified as the murder weapon. ...
