Eva Carol Dotson Penton, a 73-year-old woman from Austin, Texas, tragically lost her life on July 16, 2023, in a devastating murder-suicide incident. The Austin Police Department (APD) responded to a welfare check at 7537 S. Glenn St. around 4:30 p.m. on that Sunday after a caller reported not hearing from a family member for several days.
