Brandon D. Mitchell, aged 39, was fatally shot on January 25, 2015, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near East 28th Street and Prospect Avenue. Police officers responded to a report of gunshots, and upon arriving at the scene, they found Brandon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared dead shortly after.
