Death by Force

On October 18, 2020, Markeita McCleary, a 28-year-old woman from Mesquite, Texas, was tragically shot and killed by her husband, Ashton Neroes, also 28 years old. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of Oates Drive in Mesquite. When police arrived at the scene, they found Markeita with multiple gunshot wounds and immediately transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
