Eric Vizcarra Reyes was shot and killed in a parking lot on the 1600 block of East Belt Line Road in Richardson. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on October 17, 2020. Witnesses reported that an altercation took place, during which Eric was shot by an unidentified assailant. By the time the police arrived at the scene, Eric had already succumbed to his injuries. The shooter was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a heavy build, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, and sporting a short, fade-style haircut. The suspect fled the scene in a white Dodge Charger, driven by another man with a thin build, estimated to be between 25 to 30 years old. The vehicle was believed to be a model from 2006 to 2009.
The Richardson police have been actively investigating the case, seeking any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in Eric's murder. A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest. Tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers or directly to the Richardson police.
