In the spring of 2015, a Black / African American man named Stanley Davis lost his life on the streets of St. Louis, Missouri. On the afternoon of April 1st, the 40-year-old was found lying in the 3500 block of North Newstead Avenue, the victim of a fatal shooting. The brazen nature of the daytime violence left the community shaken and searching for answers that would prove to be elusive.
