Vegas Blate, a 16-year-old male, was tragically shot and killed on January 9, 2021, outside a daiquiri shop in southeast Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near Browncroft and MLK. According to reports, Vegas Blate got into a fight with someone, which escalated to the point where he was shot. Three other individuals, including another teenager, were also shot during the incident. Despite the severity of the crime, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
