On January 18, 2021, Cedric Tolbert, a 37-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, was tragically shot and killed. He was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his silver Chevy pickup truck outside his mother's house in East Oak Cliff. The incident occurred shortly after 9:45 p.m., and despite being rushed to a local hospital, Tolbert was pronounced dead later that night.
