On February 26, 2021, 6-year-old Qualal Terrion Young, a young boy from Denver, tragically died from a gunshot wound at a home in central El Paso, Texas. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. when police officers responded to a shooting at 1925 Detroit Avenue. Qualal was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after being discovered with the gunshot wound.
