Damon L. Morgan Jr., an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2021, in Waco, Texas. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of JJ Flewellen Road and Lenox Street in East Waco. Damon was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Waco Police Department identified the shooting as gang-related, stating that Damon was targeted due to a previous incident.
