Willard Justice Jr., a 69-year-old man from Lubbock, Texas, tragically died on May 9, 2021, from a gunshot wound in his home. The incident occurred after police responded to a shots fired call in the area the night before. Justice was found dead the next day during a welfare check initiated by his granddaughter, Alicia Chavez, who had gone to check on him after hearing the shots.
