Angelica Contreras Harris, a 27-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically passed away on June 6, 2021, in Alice, Texas. She was found in her apartment with a single gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred early in the morning, and police were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. Angelica's husband, Howard Harris, was arrested later that morning after a standoff with law enforcement. He was charged with her murder and held on a $500,000 bond.
