Samuel Vasquez Jr., an 18-year-old Hispanic male, tragically died on June 13, 2021, in Horizon City, Texas, which is near El Paso. Vasquez was one of three teenagers injured in a shooting that occurred in the early hours of the morning on Canyon Vista Drive. The incident took place during a graduation house party, and the shooting was captured on a 37-second cellphone video that showed more than a dozen people fleeing the scene after gunshots were fired.
