Hugo Geovany Martinez Morales, a 35-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on June 16, 2021, in Austin, Texas. He was found in a parking lot at The Villas apartment complex on North Lamar Boulevard, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives requested the public's assistance in gathering information or video footage from the area during the late evening hours of June 15th and the early morning hours of June 16th. A reward of up to $1,000 was offered for information leading to the arrest or aiding in the prosecution of the suspect.
