On June 19, 2021, Hugo Mendoza, a 29-year-old man from Pampa, Texas, tragically lost his life. Initially, it was reported that Mendoza had accidentally shot himself. However, after a thorough investigation by the Pampa Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division, it was determined that Mendoza was actually shot by his cousin, Alan Abisaie Arambula, 25, also of Pampa.
