Destiny Mischellene Pemelton, a 28-year-old woman from Harlingen, Texas, tragically passed away on July 2, 2021. Destiny was shot to death while attempting to escape from the car of an acquaintance. Two other men, including a U.S. Marshal, were also shot while trying to help her escape. Destiny was born on July 22, 1992, and was known for her caring and compassionate nature as a registered nurse. She is survived by her 21-month-old son, Landon Gene Pemelton, and her family.
