Sandra Napoles, a 65-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on August 7, 2021, in South Padre Island, Texas. She was one of three women fatally shot at a condominium on Padre Island Boulevard. The other victims were Odalys Hernandez, 46, and Zulema Hernandez-Napoles, 47, both of whom were family members of Sandra. The suspect, Yordi Barthelemy, a 23-year-old man from Kerens, Texas, was charged with capital murder in connection with the deaths.
