Odalys Hernandez, a 46-year-old Hispanic woman, was tragically killed on August 7, 2021, in South Padre Island, Texas. She was one of three women who were fatally shot at a condominium on the resort island. The other victims were Zulema Hernandez-Napoles, 47, and Sandra Napoles, 65, both of whom were also Hispanic women and members of the same family.
