Jason Allan Cumbie, a 40-year-old resident of Brady, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on August 14, 2021. The incident occurred at his residence on South Wall Street around 4 a.m. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but unfortunately, Cumbie was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation led to the arrest of Michael Paul Tarr, also a 40-year-old resident of Brady. Tarr was taken into custody at the scene and charged with murder. During the trial, it was revealed ...
