On December 9, 2019, 17-year-old Christopher Cardoza was tragically shot and killed in Garland, Texas. Cardoza was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas by a witness, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Investigators believe that Cardoza was shot during a meeting in a parking lot near the 3600 block of South 1st Street. The meeting was reportedly arranged for a drug transaction.
