Donald Ray Boumans, a 25-year-old male, tragically died on August 28, 2021, in Blanco, Texas. Boumans, who was of Caucasian ethnicity, was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot by his stepfather, James Mayer Harris Jr., during a domestic disturbance. Harris, a 63-year-old attorney, claimed that Boumans had physically confronted him during an argument, leading Harris to shoot him in self-defense.
