Scotty Stephens, a 25-year-old male from Waco, Texas, tragically passed away on October 24, 2021. He was attending a trail ride party when he was shot by Deotis Gray, a 24-year-old suspect. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. at the 5400 block of Orchard Lane. Gray allegedly used an AK-47 to open fire on Stephens, who was fatally injured. Stephens was also struck by a fleeing vehicle as he was shot.
