ZaKavia Shante Walker, a 13-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on December 16, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was found shot in the parking lot of a shopping center near Altamesa Boulevard and McCart Avenue. ZaKavia was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive her injuries. The incident occurred around 9 p.m., and police believe it might be gang-related, although no suspects have been identified.
