Reginald Jeffery, a 20-year-old National Guardsman, was fatally shot on December 23, 2021, in an apparent road rage incident in southeast Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred on eastbound LBJ Freeway at the Haymarket Road exit. Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored SUV involved in the shooting. Jeffery was found inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
