Tasia Gardner, a 36-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on January 5, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 10900 block of Cheeves Drive in northeast Houston. Tasia was sitting in a parked car with Leroy Butts, 36, when a dark-colored sedan pulled up and the occupants began firing at them. Both Tasia and Leroy were struck multiple times, and Tasia was pronounced dead at the scene. Leroy was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
