Jordan Reed, an 18-year-old from Port Arthur, Texas, tragically passed away on February 5, 2022. The incident occurred at a house in the 1100 block of 8th Avenue, where Reed was accidentally shot in the head by a juvenile while the latter was unloading a handgun. According to the shooter, the firearm discharged accidentally as they were placing it on a bed in an upstairs bedroom. The Port Arthur Police Department confirmed that the shooting was accidental and no arrests were made.
