Jerome Johns, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on February 21, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred at the Coronado Apartments on the city's North Side. Police arrived at the scene around 4:30 a.m. and found Johns' body lying in the street. Despite the efforts of EMS members to revive him, Johns was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed his identity and cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.
