Luis Eduardo Gandara Gongora, a 25-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on May 15, 2022, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Gongora was found dead in the 100 block of Goerte Drive around 7:30 a.m. According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, Gongora was involved in a disturbance and exchanged gunfire with two men he knew, Jose Zavala, 26, and Christian Zavala, 28. After the shooting, both suspects fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a third man, Juan Rivera-Hernandez, 33.
