In the early hours of a Thursday morning in St. Louis, violence shattered the quiet of the Benton Park West neighborhood. Inside a crashed silver Chevrolet van on the 2900 block of Texas Avenue, police made a grim discovery. Two men, 26-year-old Demon Williams and 30-year-old Eric Jones, were found shot to death. The incident, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. on June 30, 2016, also left a third person critically injured with multiple gunshot wounds on a nearby sidewalk.
