In the early hours of a Saturday morning in St. Louis, Missouri, the life of 25-year-old Latroyn Marell Swopes was tragically cut short. On July 16, 2016, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a call in the 5300 block of Theodosia Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Swopes lying unconscious outside of a residence. He had been shot, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
