Amber Tsai, a 32-year-old woman of Asian descent, tragically lost her life on July 2, 2022, in Haltom City, Texas. She was killed in her home during a shooting rampage carried out by Edward Freyman, a 28-year-old man who was her ex-boyfriend. Freyman, a former Army sergeant, fired hundreds of rounds from a rifle, killing Tsai and their mutual friend Collin Davis, 33, before taking his own life. The incident also left three police officers injured, with two of them requiring hospitalization.
