Fabricio Rivera-Perez, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, tragically died on August 5, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas. Rivera-Perez was employed as a delivery driver for Canales Furniture. On the day of his death, he was delivering furniture on the 3800 block of Reed Street when his company's delivery truck was stolen in a carjacking incident. Initially, it was reported that Rivera-Perez had been shot, but later investigations suggested that he might have either jumped or fallen from the moving truck.
