Gary Jerome Hunter, a 38-year-old man from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on September 4, 2022. He was shot outside a convenience store on North Main Street around 11:20 p.m. Surveillance footage revealed that Hunter was involved in an altercation with another man before the shooting occurred. He was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
