Jennifer Hernandez, a 20-year-old Hispanic woman, was fatally shot on September 16, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was eight months pregnant with a baby boy at the time of her death. Hernandez and her 17-year-old boyfriend were in a car when another vehicle pulled up beside them and opened fire. The boyfriend survived the shooting, but Hernandez and her unborn child did not.
