Randi Lynn Mitchell, a 27-year-old woman from Elgin, Texas, tragically lost her life on September 17, 2022. She was a certified nursing assistant and a dog groomer, known for her genuine love for animals. Randi's life was cut short when she was shot and killed by retired Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Rito Paul Morales at their shared home on Bexar Forest Cove. Morales was also killed at the scene by a Travis County Sheriff's Deputy during a standoff.
