Sofia Vera, a 19-year-old woman from Elgin, Texas, tragically passed away on December 30, 2022. She was found shot to death in Bastrop County, and her death was initially thought to be a hit-and-run incident. However, it was later determined to be a murder. The investigation revealed that Sofia had been shot four times, including once in the head.
