Richard Gary Gomez, aged 24, of Lake Jackson, Texas, known as "Ricc," tragically passed away on November 23, 2022, in Pflugerville, TX. His death was unexpected and deeply shocking to his family and friends. Gomez was known for his kind-heartedness, humor, and loving nature. He is survived by his son, Isiah, his sisters Samone, Valaree, and Katherine, his niece Kamryn, and his parents Gary and Krista Gomez.
On November 22, 2022, officers were called to a disturbance at the Stoneridge
Apartments in Pflugerville. When they arrived, they found Gomez dead from a single gunshot wound. The Pflugerville Police Department, in collaboration with the Travis County district attorney’s office, launched an investigation into the incident. Investigators identified a suspect who was reportedly being cooperative with the authorities.
