On May 10, 2017, 20-year-old Jose Avidan Martinez, a Hispanic male from Pflugerville, TX, was fatally shot in the parking lot of the 1825 Place Apartments. He was starting a new construction job that morning when he was killed. Martinez was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation revealed that the shooting was connected to a robbery at a nearby 7-Eleven earlier that morning. Robert Joseph Uribe, 18, was identified as the susp ...
