On a Monday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of 33-year-old Earl Cortez Watson was tragically cut short. On September 26, 2016, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Watson was discovered shot inside his vehicle near the intersection of 83rd Street and Wayne Avenue. A report of the shooting prompted police to respond to the scene where they found him in the driver's seat of his car.
